Bizen Catering Services' Actions for Food Safety in Dong Nai Province in 2024

Ensuring food safety has received significant attention and leadership from the entire political system, from the central to local levels. Party committees and government authorities have all been involved, leading to clear transformations and important achievements in various areas. Propaganda and inspections on food safety have been strengthened, helping to timely prevent and reduce food safety risks, particularly reducing cases of food poisoning incidents in industrial parks.

Bizen Catering Services was established in 2012, originating from the predecessor restaurant Bizcafe' - Amata IP Service Center since 2010. Bizen Catering Services inherits and brings a creative à la carte style into industrial meals that are never boring or dry. Our team has 12 years of experience and deep expertise in industrial catering services. We are fully aware of the importance of food safety and are committed to ensuring food safety throughout the process of providing industrial catering services to our clients and partners, which are factories in industrial parks and school systems. Our measures to strengthen food safety assurance are as follows:

Source and Management of Raw Materials:
  • Up to now, Bizen has always used fresh and live food raw materials, and does not use frozen low-quality foods to prepare dishes for our customers.
  • Dry, packaged, and seasoning raw materials have always used reputable brands from manufacturers with complete certification documents, complying with legal regulations on quality and clear origins.
  • Our food raw material suppliers have legal records certifying food safety as per regulations, and are reliable providers screened over a long period of time.
Production and Transportation Process:
  • Input raw materials and foods are strictly inspected before being transferred for processing.
  • Strengthened inspection of compliance with the 3-step production - processing - food safety testing process, and sample retention according to the food safety standards of the Ministry of Health and the ISO 22000:2018 food safety management system.
  • Cooked food and dishes being served must be packaged in sealed trays/bags.
  • Strengthened supervision and inspection of employees' personal hygiene compliance to ensure food safety and hygiene, such as hand washing before entering the kitchen, wearing masks, and using gloves when handling food.
Employee Training:
  • All of our employees are trained on food safety and hygiene periodically as per regulations.
  • Especially recently, we have increased regular training activities to raise awareness for our employees, ensuring they thoroughly understand and comply with food safety and hygiene regulations throughout their work.
  • We have strengthened the addition of dedicated personnel responsible for training, tightening, and supervising the quality management process.
Strengthened Quality Inspection and Supervision:
  • We have strengthened quality control (QC) to inspect output quality at various stages, particularly food safety, before serving customers.
  • We have increased the quality control responsibility of Site Managers serving customers.
  • We organize a QC team to randomly and frequently inspect the site to supervise compliance, and remind and address issues with Site Managers and employees.

We understand that ensuring food safety is not just a legal responsibility, but also a core value that we always prioritize. With the core value of COMPREHENSIVE SAFETY - CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT, Bizen will care for and do our utmost to strengthen the implementation of food safety measures for the employees of our valued customers.
